Welcome to Fifth Grade!
The Fifth Grade Team: Mr. Eric Crabtree I came to Vienna from Hawaii. I have taught Upper Elementary since 2007. When not in the classroom doing what I love, I enjoy spending time traveling, being in the ocean or mountains, and reading or experimenting in the kitchen. I love sports, including sailing, tennis and climbing. I also enjoy using technology and hands-on projects with students. Prior to teaching, I received a Masters in Education from Harvard University, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I grew up in Annapolis, Maryland on the Chesapeake Bay, attended Colby College in Maine, and worked making political television commercials in Washington, D.C. Please feel free to contact me at [email protected], or stop by E51 almost any day before or after school Mrs. Nicole Forbes Hello and welcome to our website! I am honored to be a member of the 5th grade team this year. This is my thirteenth year on the staff and I must say I love AIS. I started in the Secondary Library while getting an MA in International Relations, but my passion for teaching led me to pursue a professional career in teaching. While most of my experience here has been working in Early Childhood, I am thrilled and ready for the challenges and adventures of upper elementary. When not in my classroom, my life in Vienna is happily spent with my husband and two children, Mathias (6) and Vivienne (3). When I am not busy coaching the high school speech and debate team or planning our next great adventures, I enjoy reading, yoga, dancing and traveling. I am really looking forward to growing and learning alongside the class! Ms. Trisha Tofany Hello and welcome to 5th grade website. I was born in a small town in Upstate New York called Livonia.
